Suits longboard Breadbin Board ASSY NO. 250425 only
Included 1 x 0.8 mm thick Repair PCB only.
Instead of running multiple wires to repair broken traces simply solder this board on over the existing pins.
More secure, neater and not as fragile as bodge wires.
Reconnects: GND. 5V. Address, Cas & Ras lines across 4 IC's.
Solder pad for each chips Data select line for bodge wires if needed.
Careful installation is required, make sure it is fitted with the correct orientation, installing upside down or back to front may cause damage.
Suits either group of 4 64Kx1 (4164/4264) DRAM IC's fitted from back of board. U9, U10, U11, U12 or U21, U22, U23, U24
MAY NOT FIT IF ORIGINAL IC's have their legs bent over flat, they may need to be straightened carefully.
Best if all IC's have been replaced with new sockets.
DO NOT flood the solder holes with to much solder, use enough to bond between the repair board and the ic/socket pins and not flooding between the repair board and main board.
Make sure all traces on the motherboard are clean and insulated before installation to avoid short cicuits that will no longer be accessible once installed.
