This is a beautiful, original 1930's Reliance antique painting No. 425 by Houte. Features the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. Has very vibrant colors of blue, red, brown, black and cream. This is one of a series of world famous children's nursery tales, and is reproduced in full colors on glass. The brilliant coloring is uniquely transferred by hand in rich enamels, preserving a full sharpness of detail.I see no areas of missing paint on the glass. No stains anywhere including the sky area. The frame has little to no wear at the corners.Very, very minor paint loss on the frame. Has original cardboard backing with a very small stain in the middle and a red line that matches the red frame (possibly brush smear). Measures about 11.75 inches wide x 7.75 inches high. This is one of our family's favorite heirlooms.
