Very cute child's late Victorian knickers - this style of fully sewn together drawers started to appear at the end of the century, before this they were sewn with an open crotch or only partially joined between the two legs. The button holes on the side would have attached to another piece of underwear to hold them.
Very good condition, they are not white but a cream colour (darkened white by age). Possible light marks. They have the owners name written on the inside as many items did of this period so they could find their way back home from the laundry.
