Why Proper Ignition Timing Matters

How to Use
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Connect the timing light following polarity instructions (red = positive, black = negative).
- Attach the induction clamp to the No. 1 spark plug wire—arrow must point toward the spark plug.
- Aim the strobe light at the timing mark on the flywheel or pulley.
- Adjust ignition timing as needed based on manufacturer specifications.
