This is an absolutely gorgeous vintage natural opal and sterling silver ring by Rick Olmstead. I bought it years ago from the artist and it is signed by him on the back. The opal has stunning fire that flash in greens, oranges, reds, and yellows. The photos just don't do it justice! It is the sort of ring that you just stare into mesmerized! It is in excellent vintage condition with only the most minor wear. It should not be worn swimming or when bathing as water will be trapped behind the stone and could damage it over time. The ring is a size 6.25. The band is 3mm wide and the stone setting is 14mm wide.
