Description

Here is a reproduction of the front fender of the type used on '40-'49 Harley Davidson 45" Solos.

This fender is one-piece construction, meaning the main fender, valences and side rib are all formed from one piece of metal on the punch press. The edges are rolled and the top mounting area is reinforced. Braces are approximately 11/16" wide like the earlier ones and they are roughly 9-1/8" apart at the bottom. HD redesigned the front fender for their '50-'52 Solo models, but this one can still be used on them and on any project using a stock or aftermarket stock type Solo fork. Solo forks are identifiable by the rockers positioned inside the fork legs. Also the right and left rockers are identical. This fender is not original, but still a very nice fender.
