Looks like it has been over pressed on the large blade, see pics closley. 

The weave is a fine repp but with a green & Navy base with a thick alternating stripe. This would be suitable for wear with a city suit, country tweeds and business casual (with a blazer and chinos in a preppy way). It could go with a summer linen suit too.

Handmade in Italy so you know its top notch.

Plain Navy facing is used to line the tips for that extra bit of finesse.

Linen and Silk are both delicate fabrics and can pull on sharp edges, rough skin and jagged nail, so be extra careful.

Silk is also natural and biodegradable over 12/24 months and is sustainable as is Linen (which takes 2 weeks to start the decomposition process).

Would be a great gift or yourself or a loved one.

This tie would sit perfectly with a white shirt. A blue shirt could be a good match also but avoid pink as it could look a bit over the top. This is more of a summer type tie so wearing this with linens could also work!  

You could also wear with winter style flannels shirts and tattersall check shirts (with warmer handles) but as it is a pattern its probably best worn with plains.

Polo Ralph Lauren ties sell for £80/£150 nowadays and this is a timeless design (as you can see) and it is a snip.
