Etrog box (spice box - esrog box) is a type of box used by Jewish to keep the etrog, a symbolic citron fruit anciently used with palm branches in the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) and still used.
The top is beautifully embroidered with golden thread on brown vegan (faux) leather. It definitely shows signs of use and age.
I believe it is vintage due to the signs of use, but I can't be certain. This is an estate purchase.
