This beautifully preserved framed textile showcases two antique hand-stitched linen doilies, likely Portuguese, in the style of Madeira embroidery. Each doily features an intricate floral appliqué pattern in vivid shades of red, blue, yellow, and green—expertly sewn onto a natural linen base. The colorful, scalloped designs and delicate needlework are consistent with early to mid-20th century Portuguese embroidery traditions, particularly from Madeira. While the exact origin is unconfirmed, the workmanship and materials point to high-quality European folk textile artistry from the 1920s–1940s.

Professionally framed with a double mat in green and beige tones, this piece brings heirloom charm to any wall. The back is sealed with craft paper and wired for hanging. A Michaels label is present on the reverse, indicating the framing was done more recently to preserve the original fabric.
