Bail Information
Chains can vary quite a bit in width, design, and clasp size, so without seeing your specific chain in person, it’s difficult to say for sure whether it will fit this pendant. That said, based on our experience, most chains up to 3mm–4mm wide tend to fit without an issue. Chains with larger or unusually shaped end caps may have trouble fitting through the bail.
If you do decide to order the pendant and find that the bail doesn't quite accommodate your chain, you may be able to gently adjust it yourself—or take it to a local jeweler who can modify it to fit perfectly.

About the Coin
The Liberty Head Double Eagle is a classic U.S. $20 gold coin design produced from 1850–1907. It was introduced during the California Gold Rush era and became a major denomination in U.S. gold coinage.
The design is credited to James B. Longacre. On the obverse, Liberty is portrayed wearing a coronet (headband) inscribed with “LIBERTY,” surrounded by stars and the date.
The reverse features a heraldic eagle motif with a shield, along with the required inscriptions for denomination and national identity. These elements are characteristic of many 19th-century U.S. gold issues.
While certain year-to-year details can vary, the coin’s standard physical specifications (including diameter and typical thickness range) are what determine bezel compatibility. This bezel is made to fit the specified $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle dimensions listed above.
