Q. Where do these laptops/tablets come from? |
A. We purchase directly from Dell, and this laptop is brand new. Q. Has the box of the laptop been opened after Dell shipped to Plaza Laptops? A. We open the box to conduct an external check of the laptop. We do this to make sure the laptop doesn’t have any major damage, the service tag matches the invoice, the laptop is not DOA, and the specifications stated on the Dell invoice are identical. In most cases, we do not boot the system; we only check the BIOS. If the laptop was booted, this will be stated at the beginning of the auction next to the item number. After the system is checked, the box is resealed using the factory tape. |
Q. How does Dell end up with these laptops for sale? |
A.This was a cancelled order before shipping from Dell. |
Q. What warranty does the laptop / notebook have? |
A. This particular laptop has a limited warranty from Dell. You can extend your warranty through Dell. |
Return Policy
1. Return policy window is any time from the moment you place the order to 14 calendar days from the delivery date.
2. If you change your mind at any time before the order us shipped, you receive a 100% refund.
3. If you change your mind after the order is shipped but before you open the box, a full refund LESS the S&H fee will be provided.
4. If you have opened the box but return the item in original condition, for any reason, a refund less 15% restocking fee and S&H will be provided. All returns must be sent back in the original packaging.
If for some reason your system doesn't match the specifications outlined in the ad, Plaza Laptops will happily refund your payment upon return of the system in original condition. Plaza Laptops does not accept returns due to system performance problems. Plaza Laptops conducts an external examination of all laptops and checks basic functionality, but we do not conduct extensive tests of system operation. Therefore, Plaza Laptops cannot guarantee the operation of each individual system. Any system performance issues need to be addressed by Dell through the warranty coverage procedure.
Damaged Items
All packages/laptops are inspected for external damage before they ship from the warehouse. If your package/laptop has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day of the date of receipt by my carrier.
