    ***Removal

    Raise the vehicle and remove the lug nuts and wheels.

    Remove the caliper and rotor.

    Remove the axle nut using the axle nut socket.

    Before removing the hub unit, note the correct orientation and position of the sensor lines and bearings. Disconnect ABS sensor wires from their matching connector points and positioning clips.

    Remove the anchor bolts for the steering knuckle.

    Clean and inspect steering knuckles.

    Installation is in the reverse order of the removal

    ***Installation

    Insert the new hub assembly into the steering knuckle.

    Tighten the mounting bolts of the knuckle bearing using a torque wrench.

    Connect the new ABS sensor already installed on the new bearing to its matching connection point

    Install axle nuts.

    Replace the brake disc and caliper.

    Replace the wheel and tighten the lug nuts.

     

    Notes:
