This is a life-size handmade soft-sculpture figure, often described as a butler or formal host, created by a small Canadian artisan studio known as People for Sale (Niagara Falls, Ontario). These were not mass-produced items — each figure was individually handmade as a folk-art “person,” intended as a conversation piece or display figure.

Please note the following honestly and clearly:
There is a very small tear in the facial fabric (see photos)
Minor, stable, and does not detract from display
Could likely be stabilized or repaired by a textile conservator if desired
Shoes show light scuffing, consistent with age and display use
Clothing is clean and well-kept
No major stains, odors, or structural issues
Displays and stands well
As with all handmade folk art, minor irregularities are part of the charm and authenticity.
