Leather edged boards - showing much age related wear and marking - however, they are sound and holding the pages well
The spine has golden decoration and writing 
As you open the front cover you see much ageing and creasing to the first blank page 
Next you see the illustrated frontispiece - you see the spine exposed here
There is a water stain to the bottom right corner of quite a few pages - disappearing around page 39
Filled with extraordinary pictures and accompanying commentary
It is a thick heavy book - 11.5" across the front, 8" high, 2" thick
As you turn the pages they are intact - all attached to the spine
Despite the visible wear, it is in good, readable condition 
Please look very carefully at the listing photographs which form an important part of the visual description
