RARE. Vintage 1950s Hand Tooled Leather Breast Collar Choker is a unique and stylish accessory perfect for any Western Cowgirl or Cowboy. Made of leather with hand-tooled embellishments set with faux pearls, this breast collar features a horseshoe shape design at the center, adding a touch of Western flair. Measuring approximately 7" long and 2 1/4" wide at the widest point, this one-size piece is great for adding a unique touch to any outfit. Perfect for those looking to make a statement with their accessories and embrace a Western-inspired style. There are a couple of flaws that might keep someone less creative from purchasing 1) Someone has written the name "Roger" in pen, I believe it could be removed with some elbow grease if you were inclined to remove it. 2) One side of the attached elastic on each end is missing. This could be replaced by opening the end and replacing the elastic with newer half inch elastic. If it were me, I would open up both ends and replace both sides with newer elastic with velcro closures. Other than that, perhaps a good polishing using a neutral color wax or boot polish. And you are good to go. These are fairly rare and much sought after. I have had this for over 5 years always intending to repair it and my guess is if I keep it, I will have it five years from now with the same plans of repairing it. Rescue it please.
