PAUL  GASCOIGNE

He is known by the nickname Gazza. He played in midfield. He played for the English national team from 1988 to 1998. He scored 10 goals in 57 appearances. He made his debut in a friendly match against Denmark in 1988. At the 1990 World Football Championship in Italy, he stood out with his game. He also played a notable role at the 1996 European Championship in England. He scored a goal for Scotland. The players celebrated the goal by having Gascoigne lie down on the turf and the players splashing water into his mouth from a bottle. He has been involved in many incidents off the football field during and after his career, due to which it is considered that he did not fully realize his playing potential.
