You are bidding on a HILDA Kaihlanen Watercolor Painting Folk Art "Winter Reflections" Print? Framed; I can't tell original painting from a print so listing as a print.  The visible diameter of the scene is 10" in diameter.  The frame is square and measures 12 3/8"x12 3/8".  Very good used condition.  Bottom right corner has a small chip in the glass.  Everything else is original to the era.  About the artist: She was born in 1919  in Folly Cove, Gloucester and passed away in 2013. Hilda was a well known artist for most of her life, creating colorful paintings of local scenes. She also created many paintings using her imagination. They were loved by many who had collections of her painting worldwide. She had been a charter member of the Folly Cove Designers, a member of the North Shore Art Association, the Newburyport Art Association and the Copley Society of Boston. She also designed the cover of the book "The Night of The Hurricane" by Nancy Hale of Folly Cove. She loved creating Christmas cards for Kristin Elliot for many years. Hilda also wrote a book titled "A Finnish Christmas" with illustrations that were typically "Hilda". Hilda and her son Lauri have a gallery on Bearskin Neck in Rockport the Kaihlanen Gallery. She spent many years tending the gallery and making new friends each day. Her husband, Lauri and Hilda were a great team. Hilda painted and Lauri matted and framed her paintings.

Sometimes shipping is cheaper than Ebay's estimate for larger and/or heavier items so will refund accordingly. If the winning bidder wins multiple auctions, shipping, handling, insurance charges will be adjusted accordingly.

Some of the items that I list for sale on E-BAY are either old, vintage or used. There are very few items in perfect condition that have been used and have stood the test of time. Just about all of them show some signs of use and wear.
All items are pictured and have as thorough a description as possible.

I am representing the item to the best of my knowledge. The major drawback of online auctions is that a person can't actually handle and examine an item before bidding. I know that misunderstandings and mistakes can occur on both sides of a sale especially when buying from a picture and a description. To keep these potential mistakes at a minimum I ask that you be a responsible bidder and read the description & examine the photographs carefully. If there are any questions please e-mail me before the auction ends. If you don't agree with my shipping terms and fees, please refrain from bidding on my auction.

THANKS FOR LOOKING AND BIDDING!!!!
