The Orion XTR12SWD4 delivers deep, controlled bass in a slim shallow-mount design. Specifically engineered as a 12 inch dual 4 ohm shallow car subwoofer, it produces strong low-frequency output while fitting in tight spaces. As a result, it works well in modern vehicles and compact enclosures. With 500W RMS and 2000W peak power, it offers an excellent balance of output, efficiency, and everyday reliability.
Additionally, the dual 4-ohm voice coil configuration provides flexible wiring options. Because of this, matching amplifier loads becomes easier in shallow system layouts. Therefore, the XTR12SWD4 is ideal for under-seat installs, shallow trunk builds, and stealth audio upgrades.
Built for Shallow-Mount Performance
To ensure consistent output in limited space, the XTR12SWD4 features a UV-coated paper and fiber blend cone. Moreover, it uses a durable NBR surround to control excursion in a shallow profile. Together, these materials help reduce distortion while maintaining clean and accurate bass response.
A polypropylene dustcap reinforces the cone structure. As a result, stability is maintained during higher output levels. In addition, a ceramic magnet motor structure provides reliable control and efficiency despite the reduced mounting depth.
