1993 Vauxhall Nova SRI (Rep)
I’m not sure where to begin with this write up. With a Heavy heart it’s time to move this little cracker on, but only to the right person who is going to treat her and love her as much as I do.
She is the perfect usable Vauxhall Nova, Is she concourse? No she isn’t but is she an incredible little machine that doesn’t skip a beat? Absolutely…..
you can get right in and drive this British 90’s icon straight away and it needs for nothing, Is it time to relive the 1990’s and own this amazing piece of nostalgia.
She was first registered in 1993 in southwest London and I’ve had the first tax disc recreated.
As you can see from the pics, she is very clean and no rust underneath or on the exterior bodywork! The car is a nova spin registered as a 1.4 but has a x16xe fitted 1.6 Corsa GSI Engine (done in 2011 and a receipt from the garage who carried the professional conversion)
She is sat on 15 inch Cessaro’s with 4 brand new tyres and I’ve pieced together a FULL SRI interior inc the very hard to find sun visors with the mirrors still intact and the original SRI red knobs,also every piece of glass in the car is the original with the registration still etched (very rare).
I’ve put a Kenwood stereo and 6x9s in to relive the 1990’s. Not easy to find all the SRI bits now as they are becoming very rare, I even imported the 5 speed gear knob in from Bulgaria. No expense has been spared on getting this little car to this standard.
The way this Nova looks to me is just perfect.

*8v flat type flywheel and clutch
*Lowered 60mm shocks and springs
*Polybushed front arms and tie bars
*Astra GTE 16v brakes
*Reconditioned head at 85k new cam belt water pump also
*Clifford alarm and central locking
*Service 10 miles ago (oil/oil filter/plugs)
Last 4 years Mot have been advisory free, which shows how solid the car is, no mention of any corrosion. MOT until 02/05/26 no advisories.
You will struggle to find one as good as this for the price in my opinion, I’m in no rush to sell so I won’t be accepting offers, this is worth every penny of the asking price.
It will continue to be in use weekly from the spring time as I love nothing better than a summers evening drive in her. Comes with a new outdoor breathable cover worth £175.
Reason for sale is my circumstances have changed and it’s to help fund another project and unfortunately I can’t keep them all.
