The 1947 Yankees came roaring back to the World Series after a three-season absence during Worl War II, led by many of the featured players in Tip-Top Bread's first and only attempt at a comprehensive collection. The players included in this reprting lot are Hall of Famers Larry (Yogi) Berra (RC) and shortstop Phil Rizzuto; pitchers Bill Bevens, Tommy Byrne, Joe Page, Mel Queen, Allie Reynolds and Charles (Butch) Wensloff; catcher Aaron Robinson; infielders Bobbie Brown, Frank Crosetti and George (Snuffy) Stirnweiss; and outfielders Tommy Henrich, Charlie Keller and Johnny Lindell.

The Yankees won 15 of the next 18 American League pennants (1947-64) with Yogi as a catcher and occasional outfielder and finally manager of the 1964 squad. And here's a reprint copy of his Rookie Card!
