I just popped it into my Gameboy Color and played through the first level without issue.
Still seems to save high scores per me being able to enter my own today :)
I believe the original release year of the game was 1991, but it is dated 1993 on the cartridge art.
Ships in a sturdy box, always, to mitigate chance of loss en route.
