Vintage Buttons X 30 28mm Pink Marbled Two Hole 1950s Australia Beutron?

Nice condition probably never used from my mothers sewing kit.

A deep pink or crimsonish rose colour.

Probably Beutron (Australia) or a related Australian commercial button manufacturer

Era: Mid-20th century (circa 1950s – 1970s)

Material: Casein or early polyester plastic (typical of Beutron’s marbled “pearl finish” series)

Features:

• Diameter 28 mm

• Shallow domed face with fine diagonal ridging

• Pink/rose marbled pearlescent surface

• Two large, round sew holes

Buttons of this type were commonly sold in department and haberdashery stores across Australia from the 1950s through the 1970s. Casein versions were produced domestically by Beutron and other Australian plastics firms before later production moved overseas.
