The Montegrappa Ammiraglio 1939 limited edition fountain pen blends Italian craftsmanship with Japanese pen-making techniques, with only 80 units released worldwide. The pen body is made of Mazzucchelli celluloid, accented with 925 sterling silver.

It replicates the silhouette of export models from the 1930s and features a Sailor-made 18K gold nib, unlike Sailor's standard 14K or 21K nibs, providing a smooth and responsive writing experience. 

The nib was overseen by Yukio Nagahara, son of renowned nib maker Nobuyoshi Nagahara, upholding Sailor's exceptional craftsmanship and showcasing meticulous attention to detail.

This fountain pen utilizes Montegrappa's patented piston filling system, capable of holding a large ink capacity, suitable for extended writing sessions.

Named after "Ammiraglio" (Admiral), the highest rank in the Italian Navy, this piece embodies a balance between tradition and innovation through rare materials and the fusion of Eastern and Western techniques.
