As part of the small and highly specialized B-2 fleet, the aircraft embodies the revolutionary flying-wing design intended to penetrate advanced air defenses undetected. Constructed with radar-absorbing materials and shaped to minimize its radar signature, the B-2A was designed during the Cold War to deliver both conventional and nuclear payloads deep into heavily defended territory.
