I personally took each parts out to clean, polish, grease, and oil parts where it needed. I used Cals drag grease to the drag parts, grease and oil with Penn products to any parts and corners where parts move. The reel is ready to be spooled to your desired line.

Yes, the reel shows wear and nicks but no green or rust. Light scuffs but not too bad cosmetic wear. Definitely does not interfere with performance.
