ABOUT THE ARTWORK:

*      Medium: Oil Paint

*      Dimension/ Size: 12”x12” (30cm x 30cm)

*      Surface: gesso primed canvas

*      Varnishing: After the painting process is done and dried fully, I have applied fine oil paint varnish on the top of the painting, which mainly gives the protection to the painting and additionally gives it a little gloss!

*      Please note: Colors and brightness may appear slightly different due to screen and camera settings — but rest assured, the heart, detail, and overall vibe of the painting are just the same in person (if not even better!)

ABOUT ME:

Hi! I’m Sandali Gunarathne, a final-year undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, studying Transport Management and Logistics Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering.

Art has been a part of my life since childhood — I started painting just for fun, for friends, and for competitions. I fell in love with the process, and after my Advanced Level exams, I even spent some time painting full-time before university began, turning my passion into a way to earn an income.

Now, even with my busy university life, I dedicate 2–3 hours a day to my art. Painting helps me unwind from academic stress and gives me a sense of independence and joy. I love working with oil paints, acrylics, watercolors, color pencils, and oil pastels, each medium letting me express something unique.

In this little online store, you’ll find a variety of my artworks — each one has its own story and emotion behind it. I’ve been selling my paintings for almost five years now, and I’m so grateful to my loving parents and wonderful customers who have supported me along the way. I always do my best to create with love and care — because making you happy with my art is my greatest reward. 🎨💛

 

BUYING:

·       As for the items, you can follow the steps of buying but In case of art, I would like to give you an experience of an art gallery through my store.

·       That’s why you should read this description, and the story behind the name, and about the artist I’ve explained. So, you can get a knowledge about what you are buying and how it feels like!

·       When you complete the purchase, please check you address whether it is correct or having errors.

·       If you have any issue on buying, please feel free to contact me anytime. I am here to help.

AFTER BUYING:

·       If it is an original painting, I will paint the edges, sign on it and safely pack it with a special hand written note on it. (Polythene layer to avoid water and humidity, bubble wrap and cardboard box to avoid shocks, and the note is to send my love for supporting this artist!)

·       Then straight to the post office!

(All these steps will be fulfilled 4-5 days of purchase. I usually go to post office in Saturday mornings and that’s the time I am getting free after a week of university works and lectures. Wrapping is done in Friday afternoons with my family. But if you want the painting in hurry, like for a birthday gift or any gift on your special days, better you might tell me before purchase. So, I can Be hurry with your order. It costs no more additional charges.)

SHIPPING:

·       I use Sri Lankan postal service for my international shipping, and the tracking number will be provided within few days of shipping.

·       It may take 3-4 weeks to arrive to USA, UK , Canada and other countries.

AFTER RECEIVING:

·       After it arrives to your hands, open it and enjoy it.

·       If you are happy and satisfied with it, please let me know and add feedback to me.

·       If you are unhappy, with a certain fair reason, I’m glad to hear that too and provide you a satisfying solution.
