Lobby Cards were a staple of the cinema experience since the dawn of films. Lobby cards displayed in the lobby of theaters gave the movie going public a glimpse of film moments of the feature, hopefully enticing the movie goer to see their film. These scene were to get the public into the theater seat. Scenes were not always the best chosen while others gave you just enough to peak your interest. Lobby card collecting has grown into a very passionate hobby. Unfortunately the theaters were replaced with large Movie complex and the movie advertising has changed. Lobby cards stopped being produced in the mid 1980's with a few studios still continuing but the lobby card is gone. These 11x14 art prints pay homage to the once great cinema experience that collectors would hang on their walls to relive that cinema experience.
