Disa orchds, starter collection, 2 plants posted potted. In my irrelevant opinion I believe disa to be one of the most under appreciated orchids in cultivation. personally I’ve found them to be captivating and very rewarding orchids that are very easy to care for, flowers for months at a time and is very simple to pollinate and propagate. If you can grow African drosera you can grow disa!!! they make exceptional companion plants in sarracenia pots, in trays alongside drosera or en masse in trays under benches as they are quite happy in bright light or semi shaded. Care is as simple as, pot in peat and perlite, stand in rainwater, protect from heavy frosts or freezes with fleece or just heat to frost free The plants rapidly multiply to fill pots and runners will escape the pots regularly and grow new plants right in between the pots and that is how I’ve sourced these plants on offer
You are buying two pots of escapee disa orchids that are from known clones but I have no idea what clones until they flower, photos show examples of flowers and examples of plant sizes, these will vary so don’t expect the exact plants in the photo, when they flower it is very easy to reference which disa you have.
