Authentic antique French Provincial Walnut Cabinet in the Louis XIII Revival / Rural Classicism style. c.1880–1910.

A beautifully carved late 19th / early 20th c. French provincial miniature armoire / cupboard, crafted in solid walnut and attributed to the Poitou–Charentes / Vendée region, western France. 

This compact cabinet displays classic regional craftsmanship, combining bold geometric carving with floral detailing making it ideal as a decorative accent or functional storage piece, perhaps even a bathroom cabinet as alluded to here. 

Its solid walnut construction features hand-carved geometric star panels to the doors, a floral rosette frieze beneath the cornice and diamond-mounted carved floral panels to the sides, a distinctive regional detail.

It retains its original its original iron lock plate and fittings, the red felt–lined interior a later domestic adaptation.
