Frank Louis Emmanuel (1865–1948) was an artist active in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Working primarily as a painter, he belonged to a generation trained in traditional artistic methods and representational styles. His career unfolded during a period of significant change in the art world, though his work remained rooted in established conventions rather than modernist experimentation. While not widely known today, Emmanuel formed part of the broader artistic landscape of his time, contributing to the continuity of late nineteenth-century artistic practice into the twentieth century.

Drawing on wove paper. Signed and titled lower right. Used condition, with age toning, handling/creases throughout, a few foxing spots, graphite smudges and other marks/blemishes.
