Vinyl Record grade: VG+, record has a nice sheen and gloss. A few extremely small hairline marks are visible under certain light. Playback has a few minor pops and crackle here and there, but they don’t overpower the sound. Solid, enjoyable listen overall.

Cover/Jacket grade:VG+, top left corner cut with clean  DJ/PROMO sticker. Minor tape on top right of jacket. Noticeable shelf wear along seams but no splits, rounded corners. Strong spine, clear artwork, faint ring wear visible only in certain light. Presentable but far from mint.

Only used for sealed items.

NM

Appears unplayed and will bear no marks / Part of an exceptional collection, curated with care, carefully handled, and properly stored. A grade seldom used. 

VG++

May have one or two visible imperfections (extremely faint or minor scratches)

VG+

A few visible scratches. These may include light scratches, or other superficial marks. Scratches are difficult to see.

VG

Greater numbers and severty of scratches. Pronounced play wear. Visabily used. 

G+

Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt. Severe scrathes. 

Sealed

Only used for sealed items

NM

Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This is grade seldom used. Must be in original plastic shrink wrap.

VG++

Sleeve may have a small sticker or bit of writing but looks great.  Minimal ring wear. May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs or slightly worn edges)

VG+

A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG

 Acceptable cover but may have drill hole or cut corner. May have a minor split side (1-3 inches), large sticker, or prominent ring wear. Corners are more rough. 

G+

Pervasive imperfections. Obvious wear and tear.  Minor to major flaws including sticker rash, major doodles or other distracting writing, major ring wear, soft spine, or major, total split seem.
