This Dell Broadcom 5720 OCP 3.0 network interface card provides four 1GbE RJ45 ports for copper Ethernet connectivity to network switches. The OCP 3.0 form factor is intended for Dell PowerEdge 15th- and 16th-generation servers with a dedicated OCP NIC slot rather than a standard PCIe add-in-card slot, including many C6520, C6525, C6615, C6620, R450, R550, R650, R650xs, R6525, R660, R660xs, R6615, R6625, R750, R750xa, R750xs, R7525, R760, R760xd2, R760xs, R7615, R7625, and R860 configurations. Compatibility depends on the server’s OCP 3.0 bay support, system firmware, operating-system driver support, and use of 1GbE Base-T networking over RJ45 copper cabling.
