Description:
  • Potentiometer is quite important in audio systems, as signals pass directly through them. Poor-quality potentiometers may cause high and low frequency attenuation during signal transmission, or even uneven attenuation between channels, resulting in inaccurate soundstage localization. Even the finest signal cables and RCA connectors are rendered useless if the potentiometer is not good.

Product Feature:
  • Dust-sealed design, 21mm diameter. Double-sided PCB with gold-plated traces, utilizing the opposite side as shielding. Brushes feature phosphor bronze base plates with nickel plating   —not golden-plated now.
  • Use brand UniOhm's 1% tolerance,high-precision 0805 SMD resistors. Excellent resistance consistency across both channels ensures precise soundstage localization. Compact size minimizes distributed parameters, delivering wider frequency response with balanced attenuation across all bands during adjustment.
  • Easy installation and use with excellent performance.
  • Theoretical long lifespan. Currently one of the most cost-effective audio stepper potentiometers available.
  • Each potentiometer is matched during assembly, with a two-channel error tolerance of 0.3% (e.g., 100K range: 100.2K to 100.5K).
  • The position indicator is clear and has a great tactile feel.  Although it only has 21 steps, the volume changes smoothly without abrupt jumps. (From 0 to 10 levels, the volume increase is minimal, because the stepper potentiometer must be set up like this, it is different from the carbon film potentiometers, which has an infinite number of volume points.)

Installation tip: Avoid using small potentiometer adapter PCB boards. Extra contact points are not good to the sound quality. Soldering onto double-sided PCBs makes removal difficult and risks damaging or peeling copper traces on both the potentiometer and adapter board.

Note: Requires DIY audio electronics experience or skill. No returns or refunds accepted after soldering.

>>Available impedance: 10K, 20K, 50K, 100K, 250K.
All are stereo, and only stereo.  21mm diameter.  Without-pin version is suitable for direct wire soldering.
(If you need us to solder the pins, or need other impedance, please contact me or leave a message. No additional cost.)
(Knurled shaft or D shape shaft are both available(Knurled shaft and shaft length 20mm by default). Shaft length15mm is available, please contact me)
