This is an archive of correspondence from United States Senator Howard Baker of Tennessee.   This lot includes six letters from Baker on Baker’s United States Senate letterhead signed by Baker dated between 1968 and 1981 plus two letters that appear to have printed signatures and one I am not sure about (making nine Baker letters total).   These letters are all addressed to a guy who was an executive with the Union Carbide company in Paducah, Kentucky.   

Baker would serve as United States Senator representing Tennessee from 1967 to 1985 and would also serve as Senate Majority Leader , White House Chief of Staff during the Reagan Administration and later United States Ambassador to Japan.  Included with the Baker letters is a 1967 letter form United States Senator Frank Stubblefield plus a few other items.
