LS Left Cylinder Head Mounting Bracket

Already have a CCS oil catch can? This kit includes everything needed to install your can on the left cylinder head of GM Gen III and IV LS family engine blocks. The bracket is not chassis-specific and can be used on any LS or Vortec engine!

 

Please note that to use this bracket, you must not have an accessory mounted to the left cylinder head. This usually onlly applies to engine swaps without power steering or some applictations where the alternator is mounted on the right cylinder head. • Mounting hardware.
• CCS-31 90-degree mounting bracket.
• CCS oil catch can is sold separately and NOT included.

Applications

 

• Universal fitment on left cylinder head on all Chevrolet Gen III and IV LS family engine blocks (including Vortec iron blocks) that do not have an accessory mounted on the left cylinder head. For example: FD3S Mazda Rx-7 LS swaps without power steering.
• Application Note: Engines with an external PCV valve (most 1997-2004 engines) will require splicing the PCV valve into the new line or adding a restrictor in place of the PCV valve (see part number FO-06R).
