Red Star Premier Classique Wine Yeast - 5g packs 

Red Star Premier Classique is an active dry wine yeast, formerly known as Montrachet. It is a reliable and robust fermenter, ideal for producing full-bodied red and white wines, and is known for its clean aromas and balanced flavor expression. It has a high alcohol tolerance (up to 15%) and a wide fermentation temperature range (15°C to 35°C), making it versatile for both large-scale and difficult fermentations.

    • Large volumes of wine where a secure fermentation is the priority
  • Flavor profile: Produces clean wines with a structured mouthfeel and respects varietal aromas, with low production of volatile acidity and acetaldehyde 

Instructions:

One 5 gram packet contains enough yeast to make up to 5 gallons (20-23) liters.  For best results, dissolve yeast by adding about 1/4 cup (50 ml) of water at about 38C-41C (100-105F).  After opening, the yeast should be used within one month and kept under refrigeration.
