Phoenix were a well renown quality British outdoor gear manufacturer of the 80s and early 90s, based in north east England and producing there until the mid 1990s

This jacket is typical of that iconic eras style

Tough cotton / polyester blend olive/khaki green outer shell (very minimal movement sound)

Heavily padded with Dacron Hollofil polyester wadding

Detachable snap fastening padded hood

3-in-1 Top flapped, zipped stash and side entry hand pouch pockets

Elasticated cuffs

Signature Phoenix accents throughout, embroidered stripe logo, brassy snap button covers

Made in North East England, 80s/early 90s

Unbelievably warm, comfortable and practical, deserves to be in some archive but hard to resist wearing it!
