Description:
Offered here is an authentic 1978 Austrian 100 Schilling silver commemorative coin marking the **700th Anniversary of the Battle of Dürnkrut and Jedenspeigen (1278–1978)** — a turning point in Central European history. This coin comes from my grandfather’s personal collection; he was an antique dealer in Austria, adding genuine provenance and authenticity.
The obverse, designed by **Helmut Zobl**, features a detailed portrait of **King Ottokar II of Bohemia**, defeated by Rudolf I of Habsburg — the victory that founded the Habsburg dynasty’s centuries-long rule.
The reverse shows an abstract sunburst of **figures representing unity and renewal**, surrounding the Austrian shield and denomination “100 Schilling”.
