This authentic 5 Groschen coin from 1948 Austria comes from my grandfather’s antique collection in Austria, where he worked as an antique dealer. Made of lightweight aluminum, this coin was issued during Austria’s postwar reconstruction period and features the Austrian eagle emblem on one side and the denomination “5 Groschen” with the year 1948 on the other.
It’s an ideal addition for collectors interested in European history, postwar Austrian coinage, or vintage aluminum coins.
