The orientation of the battery tabs may differ from the original installed battery in your game.
Always check the polarity (positive and negative symbols) to ensure correct installation!
* There are two sizes of GB/GBC batteries. Gold, Silver, Crystal use CR2025, the larger size than this.

All batteries are brand new, and guaranteed to hold a charge of 3.2~3.3V on arrival.

Note that if you short a battery on installing, the voltage may drop to zero rapidly.
We **strongly** recommend purchasing a Multimeter/voltmeter if you do not own one to test your installation.
You can check the voltage of the battery to very quickly rule out the battery as the problem, or test for dead batteries.
You can also check the SRAM (save) chips on cartridges to check your installation and board. If the chip doesn't match the battery voltage, something is wrong.
If the battery does not appear to work, please double check polarity (+ and - direction). The polarity may be opposite of the original battery in some boards.
If you commonly replace batteries, this tool is less than $10 and may save you a lot of time.
These batteries require soldering to install, and a gamebit tool to open cartridges (not provided).
You will need a soldering iron, as well as fresh solder to add.
This process is not complicated, but we strongly recommend researching general solder technique.
Trying to use tape, heat guns, just reusing the old solder, etc, is not advised.
