This is an authentic 1915 Austria 10 Heller coin from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, issued during the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I.
It comes from my grandfather’s collection — he was an antique dealer in Austria.
The obverse features the iconic imperial double-headed eagle of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, while the reverse shows the denomination “10” surrounded by oak leaves.
Struck in bronze, this coin was minted in the final years of the empire, right before the end of World War I — making it a fascinating historical piece from the twilight of the Habsburg monarchy.
