This is an authentic 1907 German Empire 5 Pfennig coin from the Deutsches Reich, issued under Kaiser Wilhelm II.
It comes from my grandfather’s collection — he was an antique dealer in Austria.
The obverse features the large imperial eagle of the German Empire, while the reverse shows the denomination “5 PFENNIG” with the legend “DEUTSCHES REICH 1907.”
Struck in copper-nickel, this coin represents the pre–World War I German economy during the final years of the empire, making it a fascinating piece of European numismatic history.
