Here is a beautiful vintage Arthur Wood wall pocket / vase. This shape wall pocket, with 4 compartments was made using lots of hand painted designs. This one features an evocative art deco style landscape, with single stroke hand painted trees arching and bending with leaves and flowers. Very understated, which isn't often the case with these Wood vases. Three horizontal bands of gilt add a very art deco flourish.  This vase is in excellent condition, with just a little rubbing to the gilt at the base. The background glaze is a lovely stippled / dappled cream. Highly decorative. It also has its original hanging chain.
