This working Phillips Philetta radio is a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage electronics, and possibly those looking for an investment in a rare collectible treasure. It would make a great addition to any vintage audio or video collection, and it's sure to be a conversation starter in any room.

Made in Germany around 1958-1959, it boasts a classic Mid Century Modern design and has excellent sound quality. 

Sound Quality: Known for its clear and robust sound quality, the Philetta 283Z offers an excellent listening experience, even by today's standards. Refer to the surprisingly good quality from the video (and that's without an antenna!).

Supports international stations via it's multiband BD 273U tuner and inputs for different types of antennas. This includes AM, FM, Short Wave (SW), Medium Wave (MW), and Long Wave (LW). The labels for the buttons are German. A translation is listed below.

As you may or may not know, it takes a minute or so for the tubes in these radios to heat up. Something to keep in mind when you first plug it in. Your patience will be rewarded :)
