This is a beautifully cast miniature bronze or patinated brass bianzhong ritual bell, inspired by the ancient ceremonial bells of the Zhou Dynasty. These bells—recognizable by their distinctive almond-shaped profile, studded bosses, and stylized taotie mask motifs—were traditionally used in court music and ritual ceremonies.
