HEVEA bottles are easy to assemble and are leak-free! Suitable for use with breast milk, formula, milk, and water. Depending on your baby’s age and temperature needs, you can warm the bottle for baby by sitting in hot water or using a bottle warmer (be sure to check manufacturer’s recommendations on heating glass bottles). We do not recommend heating in a microwave as they heat at uneven temperatures and even if you test the milk’s temperature prior to feeding your baby, the temperature might variate.
Always check the temperature of the liquid for safe levels prior to feeding it to your baby. Do not leave your baby alone to bottle feed as it could present hazards.
Additionally, our bottles are freezer-safe if you need to store pumped breast milk. Remove from freezer and let thaw at room temperature prior to warming for baby’s meal.
Sterilize the nipple by placing it in a bowl and submerging it in boiled water for five minutes. Since nipples are made from natural materials, do not leave in direct sun for extended periods of time.
For hygienic and safety purposes, nipples should always be replaced after 6-8 weeks of use. Always check the nipple before use and replace if any wear or tear is evident. Dispose with food waste - nipples will biodegrade naturally.
Replacement natural rubber nipples in slow and medium flow can also be purchased for all HEVEA Standard Neck Bottles.
Easy Bottle Care
Sterilize the bottle, screw thread, and dust cap by boiling in a pot on the stove for 5 minutes. Be sure they are completely covered by water. Set out to cool and dry on a clean cloth. Alternatively, you can sterilize using a steam machine made for bottles - check directions of the manufacturer. Bottles are also dishwasher safe - place on top rack.
