Our slide hammer can be connected to any of our tap-out pullers, (or indeed any of our our blind wind-out pullers when a particular placement makes the cup unusable).
The slide hammer is a quick and convenient way to remove bearings, without having to reach through with a drift from the other side. In most cases the part holding the bearing can be held in one hand and the slide hammer operated with the other hand, allowing you to remove the bearing without having to find support when tapping our awkward bearings.
All parts of the hammer are manufactured from stainless steel, ensuring it's longevity through a lifetime of use.
Adaptors are provided for connecting the hammer to M6 and M8 threads, suitable for all of our V2 pullers.
How to Use
| 1. | First, install a 'Tap-Out' type puller of the appropriate size in the bearing: | ![]() | |||||
| 2. | Next screw the slide hammer on to the end of the tap-out puller:

| 3. | To remove the bearing, slide the weight quickly along the slide hammer so that it impacts with the end stopper. A few sharp taps should be all that's required to remove the bearing. Try to keep the hammer inline with the bearing and puller. | ![]() |

Shipping
We dispatch orders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The cut off for dispatch is usually 8am that day.
UK orders are sent by Royal Mail RM24 (First Class).
International orders are welcomed and will be sent by DHL GlobalMail or Royal Mail International Standard (Airmail). These shippers indicate that delivery in Europe should take 3-5 working days and the rest of the world in 5-7 working days, though realistically this is often 5-10 workings days and customs inspections can have an effect.
International orders will pay only once for shipping. Add two or more pullers, presses or kits to the basket to qualify.
Ebay collects tax on behalf of the EU, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and some US states, so your order should arrive in these countries with no further taxes to pay.
