Rare piece of Winston-Salem, NC history. Piedmont Park Company $100,000 stock certificate issued to Mr. Ogburn of Ogburn Tobacco by W.N. Reynolds (William Neal Reynolds) from the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. Some writing is blurred, as shown, but certificate is not torn or ripped. Overall, excellent to be 117 years old.

Piedmont Park Co. was created to establish land for an annual fair in Winston-Salem and Mr. Reynolds love for racing and horses helped the fair grow greatly. All of this history can be found on the Carolina Classic Fair’s website.
