This medium size tapestry style carpet bag, made by 'Carpet Bags of Rougham' in a floral/nature design, has hardly been used. Having been on display for most of its life.
The bag has a simple clasp locking device that also has a horse-shoe cover to prevent being opened accidently etc; The opening opens out flat to enable easy filling, like a Gladstone bag, as can be seen in images. The metal opening is finished in a 'brushed' bronze lacquered effect.
Interior of the bag is brown in colour and as can be seen its in good condition.
The bag can be used as either a hand bag or shoulder bag, the shoulder bag strap can be simply detached if not required at the time.
Dimensions of the bag are as follows (approx) :-
Length of bottom = 45cm
Length of top = 33cm
Height of bag = 33cm
Width of bottom = 15cm
Shoulder strap length = 95cm
I also have a matching in design, but larger bag, listed as well, that is suitable for an overnight bag.
