Yes, you can add eufyCams and other eufy Video Doorbells that require HomeBase support to Video Doorbell Dual's HomeBase.
3. What is the difference between Dual Motion Detection and Single Motion Detection?
Other doorbells only have one sensor, radar or passive infrared (PIR) for object detection. Video Doorbell Dual includes both sensors to take advantage of heat and wound wave sensing, reducing false alarms by 95%.
4. How does Facial Recognition work?
When the AI sees a face, it uses algorithms to recognize the person as someone you have told it to remember. If recognized, you'll get a notification of who's at your door before you check the video.
5. How can I bind it with HomeBase 3?
Make sure both HomeBase 3 and eufy Video Doorbell S330 are updated to the latest version: Go to General → About Device → Check for Firmware Update, then tap Update.
6. Is HomeBase 3 compatible with other eufy Security products?
HomeBase 3 works with eufyCam models, eufy Battery Doorbells, eufy Sensors, Indoor Cam, Outdoor Cam and Floodlight Cam 2K Pro. SoloCam and other Floodlight models will be compatible in late August.
7. What kind of hard drive can I use to expand the storage of HomeBase 3?
Any 5V 2.5" storage drive (HDD or SSD) with a SATA interface.
Note: 12V storage drives are not supported.
8. Does Homebase 3 support 24/7 recording?
Only compatible eufy wired IndoorCam and OutdoorCam connected to Homebase 3 support 24/7 recording.
9. What are the two USB ports on the back of HomeBase used for?
They have three functions:
1. To charge your camera. The USB 1 port (blue) is recommended for quick charging.
2. To use a USB flash drive for video backup.
3. To allow function expansions in the future.
10. Why doesn't the hard drive work?
1.Slow to read the data. Wait 2 minutes after installing hard drive to turn on HomeBase 3
2.Read certain data formats only. Hard drive need to be formatted by HomeBase 3 first
3.If hard drive is old, too hot, it could be un-readable
